Where do I send my sample?
Once you’ve collected your sample, simply use the free return label provided to send it back to our lab for analysis. Detailed instructions and return information will be sent to you via email to guide you through the process.
What do I need to do before my test? i.e. fast, no drinking, etc
If fasting or limiting alcohol intake is necessary before your blood test, we will send personalized instructions via email after you place your order. However, most of our tests can be taken without the need for fasting.
When will I get my results/how will I receive my results?
Your results are typically processed within 2-3 working days. If your sample is sent over the weekend (which we don’t recommend), you’ll receive your results within 2-3 days starting from Monday. Once your results and personalized report are ready, you’ll receive an email notification to log in to the Welzo platform and view your results.
What if my results show that I’m outside the normal range?
If your results fall outside the normal range and raise concern, it’s important to contact your GP or emergency services immediately by calling 111 or 999. Please remember: If you feel unwell or are concerned about your health, do not wait for your results—seek medical attention right away.

Where does my information go, and is the system secure?
Once you register with our platform, your personal details are securely encrypted and pseudonymised to protect your privacy. When your sample is sent to our lab, it is registered using an encrypted HL7 file (Health Level Seven International), which is a widely-recognized standard for securely exchanging and developing electronic health records (EHRs). To further ensure your privacy, your data and sample are pseudonymised, meaning an unidentifiable alphanumeric code is applied to your account. This ensures maximum security and confidentiality.
